Welcome

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Political Science and a M.A. student in Statistics at the University of Michigan.  I study political psychology, political communication, public opinion, and measurement. My current work focuses on how emotional cues in news media have changed (or not) over time and how those cues impact the American electorate.

I am currently a Rackham Predoctoral Fellow.  My research has also been supported by the Russell Sage Foundation in addition to the Garth Taylor Dissertation Fellowship in Public Opinion, the Roy Pierce Scholars Fund, and the Gerald R. Ford Fellowship.

Prior to Michigan I received my M.A. in Social Science at the University of Chicago.
